Celebrate Christmas at the Rollestone Manor!

Our Christmas menu is available in the evenings from the 1st December through until the 23rd December, running alongside our a la carte menu.

Lunches can be pre-arranged for a minimum of eight people.

Starters

Potted smoked salmon rillette, served with Scottish oat cakes and a cucumber, onion & dill relish

Curried parsnip, lentil & apple soup, served with crème fraiche & croutons

Pan-fried partridge sitting on black pudding and served with a puree of roasted celeriac & garlic

Game terrine, served with pickled blackberries and toasted rye bread

Stilton, pear & caramelized shallot puff pastry tartlet, on a bed of mixed leaves and a drizzle of walnut oil

Main Courses

Free range turkey breast, served with sausage & onion stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and turkey gravy

Roasted vegetable & mushroom bourguignon, served with an onion bhaji Yorkshire pudding

Pheasant, leek & bacon pie

Sirloin of beef (6oz), served with a Yorkshire pudding and a wild mushroom, port & shallot sauce

Oven baked salmon, served with a roasted red pepper sauce, and a basil pesto cream cheese

All the above dishes are served with green & root vegetables, and gratin potatoes

Puddings

Warm Christmas pudding, served with rum butter, and brandy cream *

Chocolate truffle torte, with an amaretti biscuit base and served with a sour cherry compote *

Cheeseboard with a gin & rhubarb chutney and biscuits

Earl grey crème brulee, served with vanilla shortbread biscuit

Salted honey cheesecake with a ginger biscuit base, and served with a Sicilian lemon sauce *

To finish

Tea or Coffee served with a mince pie & French chocolate boule
